Dr. Sonny Afshar earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University in 1992. He subsequently pursued a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Missouri, graduating in 1997.
Since embarking on his dental career, Dr. Afshar has dedicated himself to advancing his expertise in cosmetic, implant, and sedation dentistry. He has acquired a multitude of certifications in these specialized areas, reflecting his commitment to delivering exceptional care.
Dr. Afshar is known for his patient-centered approach, meticulously addressing each individual’s unique dental needs and goals. He takes pride in tailoring treatments to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients, ensuring both their satisfaction and optimal dental health.
Dr. Fara Afshar, DDS
Dr. Fara T. Afshar embarked on her academic journey in the medical sciences, graduating with honors in Biochemistry from California State University, Fullerton in 2000. Her passion for dentistry was ignited through volunteer experiences at various hospitals and private practices across Southern California.
Beginning her career in dentistry as a front office receptionist, Dr. Afshar quickly advanced to practice management. In the fall of 2007, she welcomed her child and, shortly thereafter, was accepted into the University of the Pacific’s dental program, graduating with the Class of 2011. Balancing the demands of motherhood and a rigorous dental education, she demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience.
Since earning her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2011, Dr. Afshar has been devoted to delivering exceptional dental care.
